Bought this the other day and got to tearing it down and checking it out last night. Needs new rings, flywheel, air filter, and bar stud. It has good fire at the plug but compression was shot. Looked as if they were cutting dirt with it. Cant believe people let their saw get so filthy then wonder why it wont run.
Stihl 021 Chainsaw for Parts
Only my second rebuild so it is somewhat a challenge if all else fails I can sell for parts. Cleaned up exhaust port and opened up the muffler a bit. Gonna try to get some parts today. Hopefully stay under 75.00 for good running saw. Least I will know what has been done to it.
