i cant find any info on a disease one of my two plum tree has
The tree bore fruit tjis year but shortly after the leaves turned black and are still on the tree
Two months later . Any help would be truly appreciated ! Thank you

Fireblight.
Remove the tree and dispose of it asap
I have two , the other has excess sap and the fruit looked different
But doesnt look like the one pictured above. Should i remove that one too ?
Its only 12 feet from the infected one . Thanks
 
Doesn't sound like #2 is fireblight. Doesn't mean plum is a good tree choice.... what does the excess sap look like (pictures?)

Gummosis is VERY common with Plum around here. Can be caused by insects (such as peach tree borer), disease (cytospora), injury, other fungal cankers, etc...

Going to research this now and thank you very much
 
Try Pseudomonas blight as well as brown rot (Monolinia I believe). Not to be confused with brown rot types of fungal decay, it has a bad common name.
