Sold Shindaiwa 377

[Four Paws]

Selling a Shindaiwa 377/360 Hybrid. Has a 377 Crank installed in a 360 case to get 2mm longer stroke and more displacement in a small, compact package. Bore = 40mm, Stroke = 30mm. 37.7cc saw.

I went completely through this saw when I built it - new bearings and seals. New gas and oil caps. New piston and rings. New starter rope. New air filter. Kitted the carb, etc. Starts, runs, cuts and puts out plenty of oil. Chainbrake is fully functional. Set up with a .325 rim sprocket.

These saws (Shindaiwa 360 and 377) are exceptionally well built small saws. Thus, very reliable and durable. Very popular with arborists and tree services as limbing saws. They make excellent camp saws, or trail saws if you mountain bike, dirt bike, ride quads, or horses.

16" Oregon bar with .325 semi-chisel chain included. 16" = less bending and reaching.

That's looks like a nice saw. Help me out here. I'm familiar with the 377, but not the 360. Are you saying that the 360 is smaller/lighter? Will a 377 cylinder bolt on? I'm guessing if it would, you would have already done it.

There are subtle differences between the two saws. PTO case 1/2 and thus clutch cover, carburetor, air filter. Piston and cylinder are the same on both saws.

This saw has all the 377 goodness (longer stroke crank, bigger carburetor, better air filter) installed on a 360 case. Thus a lighter, more powerful saw than offered from the factory.

Whoa... This looks promising. I have a roached 377 and a nice 360.. My next project!

Ps. I love these saws. I have 4 360s and a 352s in the wood cutting room between my dad and I.

The 377 has two bar studs where the 360 has one. I was leery of the 360 at first but I've put much more time on my 360 than the 377 and it's never been an issue.
