Sold Stihl 039

I have 2 of these and one needs to go to replenish the MS461 fund. I cut a few pickup loads of wood this year with it and it runs great. Plastic is in really good shape, although the engine cover is a bit darker and the air filter cover is newer. New recoil cover. 16" Oregon power match bar. With full chisel chain that cuts well but is about worn out. Starts 3rd or 4th pull cold after a month. No leaks that I know of. Muffler is slightly opened up (holes under the cover enlarged, as well as the diverter opened up). About 147 lbs of compression. I didn't pull the muffler and check piston for scoring. When I opened the muffler last fall I checked and it was fine. I checked compression on all 3 of my Stihls and they were within 1 psi.

I have an MS390 (bought new) from right at the changeover from 039. It has extra bananas installed at 140 Cuddle Lane. I really like it, and it has always performed well.

Jon, I liked it a lot better when you were yelling at everbody for not putting a price in their ads. You've been going soft on these guys.

It at least made for a little humor in the trading post. I haven't seen VF try selling anything in a while!

I put it on here and ebay. It sold a couple weeks ago. But I do have a ported 039 in an ms310 body I might sell eventually but I need to get more time on it first. Just widening of exhaust and intake and some polishing. And really opened up the exhaust. I've only got about a tank on it but it's really a good runner

Ended up with a Dolmar 7900 instead of an ms461. So far, so good

My dear sir, I abhor yelling, and I don't recall my ire being in regard to an ommision of pricing. As I recall, it had more to do with improper identification of brands, laziness, lack of culpability, and overall douchebaggery.
