T540 xp ii 1/4” sprocket? Has anyone solved this

Hey Just picked up the Mark 2 love it, it runs neck and neck with my buddies 200t he’s got the chain speed, I got the torque.
Soooo that ends that debate

I wanted to see if I could switch up my bar and chain and switch to 1/4” pitch sprocket, preferably to a Rim Sprocket. I’ve done a bit of research but it sounds a but either didn’t understand or didn’t find anything conclusive.
Anyone had any luck?

I believe this question has been posted before. Why they never released a rear handle variant is puzzling as well. Most likely would need a worm for the oil pump like the 338/339.

For the battery saws there is an 8 tooth spur from Husqvarna and a 9 tooth one from Makita that can be made to work just thinning it a bit at the snap ring.

Thanks Franny, yea I had read some previous posts, they seemed old enough that someone may have tried some of the solutions mentioned and solved it. The 338/339 route seems like the best way to experiment.
