Were to find a wrap handle for a 044?

Were to find a wrap handle for a 044?(like Treeslig'rs)

I got to run a wrap handle like Treesling'r on a 066.

I liked it!!!
Wanted to get on for a 044.
Were do I look, or is that a custom job.
They guy said it came with the saw.(he had bought it used)

I'm not sure of even the name of the handle style?(not a full wrap handle.) I have seen them on Baileys site and ebay! It is the type that has the extra half circle.

madsen's has them. USA handlebars. that's where i got my 3/4 wrap for my 440.

Its called a 3/4 wrap handle. I have one that has been repaired on the bottom. Needed a little tig welding was all.

Bailey's has the full wrap but not the 3/4 wrap.

Check out page 97 in Madsen's catalog. They're only $39.95, about half of OEM. All metal too.

That is a very common 3/4 wrap around here... I have one on my 044 too Brad. USA Handlebars makes some good 3/4 wraps. The full wraps from them always are on backorder. Only a one man operation at USA Handlebars... so they are usually out of full wraps.

Or... the part number from Stihl:

1128 790 3600 = 3/4 wrap (don't forget to order the elbow piece too!)

That I HIGHLY doubt... those are standard equipment out here in the PNW on 044/440's and 046/460's

madsen's has them. USA handlebars. that's where i got my 3/4 wrap for my 440.

They're out of stock right now and Madsen's doesn't know when they'll get anymore. Apparently the guy that makes them is real temperamental and unreliable. He can make 60 half wraps in a day or a dozen 3/4 and full wraps, so he makes more money on the half wraps. There's no welding involved with the half wraps either. They told me it could be two weeks or two months.

The elbow is only for the OEM setup. The USA bar is solid aluminum.
