Keep them saws ripping and use food grade oil for health reasons.:chainsaw::guitar::lol:

Them j reds look like nice saws is it true they are going out of business?

They got bought up by whoever owns Husqvarna, poulan, Redmax, etc. Not recently. Recently, however the mothership (Electrolux?) Decided not to continue rebranding some Husqvarna saws as Jonsereds (which is what had been going on). Now the only Jonsereds are some low end rebadges that maybe started out as poulans. The Jonsered in the picture is a Husqvarna 365 with different paint, plastic, and a straight handlebar instead of angled.

They're great saw, huskys in a red wrapper.
As Ryan said they branding them as jreds any more, but you can still get some models branded as redmax which means that new parts will be available for yrs to come.

Those are the best! No shipping damage, person see it first hand!
Just like hooked on phonics, it worked for me lol.
As far as the shipping damage I've never had a problem with the ones I've shipped, but there was damage on some of the 2166 from shipping them to me. I show it in the pictures so guys know what they are getting ahead of time :).

How about oil and packaging nuts :popcorn2:, yes just oil too:buttkick:. Anyone shipping in packaging peanut should at minimum put the saw in a bag, personally when I ship using peanuts I put the peanuts in plastic bags so not only is there not a mess on the saw, but there is also not peanuts flying all over the house when they are opened :rare2:. I wrap most of the saws I sell in large 3/8 bubble wrap and then fill the rest of the box with more of the same or whatever I have that will work to stop the saw from moving at all in the box. Extra tip for those who use insurance, in order to make a claim on insurance there can be no part of the item touching the box.
Who wants a saw to look like this when it arrives?

Thanks for the info I find chainsaws interesting I new poulan was owned by Husqvarna from what I understand sweedens is socailism I think could be wrong someone will no. But Husqvarna would be owned by the sweedens goverment. I am glad the USA is not socialism us USA citzens couldn't run a business that don't seem fair to me. I like to keep my alleys and avenues open for coin. Well that's besides the point but Husqvarna makes a asome saw. Sad to hear jred is going under they seem like a great company hopefully Husqvarna stays strong. I think the 288xp high top is my favorite Husqvarna saw with the metal hand break they don't make them like that anymore. I hope to score one some day. Keep them saws ripping
