I am in the market for a new big wood stove, and I want to get another Jotul. I want to get the Jøtul F 600 Firelight CB. My question which color to get it in. One family member is completely in love with the Ivory Porcelain Enamel, however i think its ugly and will look funky after a while. Anyways, does anyone have a stove with the Ivory Porcelain Enamel finish or something similiar? How is it doing? Does it get dirty easily?

Nice stove

I am more utilitarian than that. I prefer my stoves in black. The idea was to heat the place. Black radiates heat better than white. However! Most of the origional wood cook stoves were enamel, and very durable. Of the options available (I had to go see) I would go with blue/black.

Yep. And the difference is NOT small! I would not have a white stove unless it were purely for decorative fires, meaning, I don't rely on that stove for heat.
