Just pulled the trigger on a 97' F350 crewcab for wood cutting and hauling  7.3 turbo diesel, auto, 1 ton. Boy that 7.3 is a torque monster!!! 127,000 miles on it, runs like a champ.

Made homemade head rack and staked the sides so I can get 1 cord of wood in the belly of the green pig. Will finish making tailgate part for the staked sides next week, so wood dont come out back.

This you tube vid is first load of wood...did I say I luv this truck :)

p.s dont tell budakat I got more oak....lol

Sharp looking truck Woodyman44. I always liked that body style. What do you plan on doing for the back tailgate area? Right now I think You are just a little shy of a cord, but we will see what it looks like after your end gate. SO how do you like driving a school bus thru the woods:hmm3grin2orange:

School bus? ... you mean freight train...lol...takes an acre to turn around.

I take it that your video camera is still good seeing as though you got the videos out of it! Another thing is how can you squeal the tires in the forest? (The first or second yank of the log it sounds like squealing tires. :))
That sure is one LONG truck. But, if you can get in and out, and maneuver around it should work out for you for many years.

Nice looking truck!

Nice looking truck! Around MN that thing would be a rust bucket!

Did you have to lock it in 4H to get that log moving? At first I was wondering what the problem was.......that was until I saw the the rest of that "twig"! :chainsaw:

I have 2 Fords and I don't like them. I have never been a Ford fan. But I have to say that is a damn good looking truck. I would drive it. I have always liked that body style. Good find.

I like the 3D video! That sure is a good looking truck!

I am a cummins man myself, but that is one nice powerstroke!

Sending nice truck rep!

That is a really nice looker. Just what I'm looking for. The kid across the street has one and it seems indestructible. Congratulations! Great video too. Just like being at one of those autocross races when the cameraman gets nailed.

Nice Truck!!! You can't stack the wood high enough in that puppy to max it out. Nice find... Thanks for the vid...

That is a beautiful truck. They are hard to find in that kind of condition up here because of the road salt. Nice truck.:yourock:

I'm no Ford fan, but that is a good looking truck and back when they still built them too. I have many miles in trucks just like that, but red and white. Those things would pull and get 17 miles a gallon doing it! (23 empty)

Rep for ya!
