Some kind of weevil covered in debris? We've had hundreds of weevils sunning themselves on the north side of our house. Really freaked my wife out when my daughter showed her "all the bugs". They were everywhere.

we turn up in the darndest places, don't we. Can't blame a fella for wanting to score a little piece of ash now and again.

(^I bet that's the 1st time the ash/ass pun has been made in this forum. Good one! :D )

I hear that they travel in pairs and mate for life and if one is killed its mate will get revenge. Don't worry though because if its mate finds you and bites you, you'll have at least 20 minutes to get to the ER and be treated with anti-venom. I don't wanna tell you what happens if you don't make it in time but please hurry if you do get bit.
