I have no use for a bar over 20", but that's just me. If a long bar on a small
saw works for the user, that's great! I sure wouldn't get on here and insult
folks for doing it.

There are a few (very few) on this site that will trash Husky and the 346xp
almost every time it comes up. Had the OP wanted to put a 28" bar on a 026,
it'd be all flowers and sunshine... lol :D

Way to stir it up gyp

Lol, glad you jumped in, but can you imagine the 28 incher trying to do the do unless you were 8" tall and using the tip due to the "backache Barney" syndrome?
The long barer's like to look macho to the casual observer. It's all just perfuctory stuff. Much better to be teased with a small bar on a big motor and outcut them all. You'll get the last laugh.

I've seen that longbar sydrome many times. Certified faller with stock 365's running 28" bars cutting 12" wood, it was all for looks. I could and did cut circles around them. Let them sit on a freakin stump and I'll dump the wood! What a cocky bastid aye! Lol I know I was going too fast, but I'll be damned if any run of the mill woodtick will out cut me!

Okay tell me why then. So no you didn't think before you typed. So before you go making your DA statements think alittle. Now go do your weekend warrior thing and bug someone else.

First of all if anyone's a weekend warrior, Im talking to him! And second your so full of #### its amazing. And you got the big mouth to go with your lame ass ideas, to bad you dont have any common sense. Im sure next you'll argue that husky was wrong by not recommending a 28 inch bar on a 346!

I guess a guy is entitled to put whatever size bar on whatever motor they want, however, it does come done to efficiency, speed and production.
The majority don't care about these factors as most of their cutting is more recreational than commercial.
All of us can admit to using the wrong tool for the job whether its a saw or a hammer.

Hey you want to send me one of them 346's? Surely you don't need that many.
