Just wondering what the average chain saw owner/operator does to pay for all his toys. and what your story is. I am a lineman for a power company in MD. I'm 23 years old and I live in South-Eastern Pa and work on the farm as well. Saws are a 026 and a 440. Born again and loving life!

53 yrs old born in brainerd, minnesota went to school for a while in palisade, mn.... went west to washington state for 15 years and moved back to my true home .... live west of braindead now in the big city of pillager. hunt bear, deer, and fish everything thats in the water!! thank god for "HOME" !! when im no doing all the other things i enjoy in life im a small lot logger firewood dealer..

I'm 29 and I run a lumber wholesale company in Western Pa. I supply mostly SPF #2, plywood, OSB, LVL, and manufactured housing trusses.

I used to be a Mixer Operator at a local bakery (very large scale). I imagine I burned around the same calories as a logger from days past. Hardcore job, but I loved it and still miss it.
Made the move to a route sales position for another company. Dont like it as well, but was better for my family at the time (amazing health care plan).
We just had our first child, so I dont know if I will stick it out in route sales or not. I would rather have a routine with the same company... but if I feel that I can better my family and myself, I will move on. Who knows, but God has definitely challenged me in my current line of work, but has brought countless blessings to my family and I because of it.

I am old, unemployed, and lack sufficient funds to adequately fund all the material possession disorders that I have. Been volunteering at the local Habitat for Humanity to get out of my wife's hair.

I work in a printing plant (20yrs). I along with my dad & my cousin all cut together as we all primarily heat our houses with firewood. It's kind of a family affair, we enjoy gettin out on the weekends & cuttin.
