Just having fun, building a new saw. Lots of little stuff on the inside. Bedliner finish. Hopefully finish next week, still need to machine and port the top end amongst other stuff.

I noticed you didn't bedliner the gas tank. Will the gas eat the bedliner off? Is this one going to the build off?

I hope that isn't the herculiner from autozone. I wasted my money on that stuff once before. It fades bad and does hold up at all.

Looks like an anti theft coating , if they look at that one , they'll leave it behind because it looks like it was in a fire or fell in a bucket of tar .

One of Roseburg Lumber's laminating plants has a 260 that looks almost identical. Of course, in their case, it was unintentional.

I asked the same thing. I'm betting it's because the bedliner stuff is oil based and the fuel with eat it up.
