I like beetles. I think they're cute. I don't have any decimating my forest though. Adelgids, now they're nasty critters.

I wonder how well the it will, "Appeal to Authority," when my gas meter starts runnin' backwards because I'm pumping so much wood heat in my house that it has no where else to go. I wish it would get sub-zero again for a few weeks so I can start winding up some two-stroke on some oak. This is getting boring.
Who are you trying to fool... you live in southern Illinois.
I have good friends that live in central Illinois and they almost never have sub-zero days, only the occasional sub-zero morning. Good lord man, if you live south of I-80 you live south of the Mason-Dixon.

Probably none of it. The general consensus among the membership is that if you told us a log was made of wood we'd want a core sample as proof.
