Just take the "M" off the model #. The 47 was a popular gear drive in it's day. Carb diaphragmns are a bit tricky to find nowadays, but not impossible. If it's a runner, then it's worth $50 with a useable 36" bar and chain.

Ok this is a Stihl MS 460 Magnum,it runs like a raped ape,it has been used as the pics show,but I do not see anything broken on it,the handle bar is tight on it,starts on the 2nd pull and cuts like a beast,I did a compression test on it and it shows 170 psi,it does have a compression release valve for easy starting as well,it has been arked by a previous owner on the plastic as it shows,the story on this is I was at a huge flea market this weekend in the mountains and a guy at a small enbgine repair shop had several of these for sale,I was looking for a 029 super to use around my farm but he talked me into this saw, later that day I found the saw I was looking for and bought it so I ended up with two saws,this is probably the better saw from everything I read about them on the internet,but I am a old dude who likes the old school saws so I am going to keep my 029 Super and sell this one,the guy did say they had done something to the saw to get it to perform better,I cannot remember what exactly he said or if he was even telling me the truth,my thought it was something about opening up the carb or porting or something along that lines,I honestly do not remember as it did not matter to me,I just cared about the fact that it started easy,ran strong,it is a used saw and I am selling it as is but guarnatee iot not to be doa on arrival,this is a professionals saw and needs to have mixed fuel-oil in it.Please see the pics and ask any questions and I will do my best to answer them,Thanks for looking and GOD Bless America and our Troops.
