we did our weekly run to the pawn shop today,, he has had this little 170 there for weeks so i just had to bring it home,, now remember i have not cleaned this saw up,, all i did was wipe the dust off,, as you can see in the pics it has maybe 2 tanks run through it,,the piston still looks brand new from the factory,,the 2 paint dots are still on the cylinder,, so what i did was take the wt215 carb and muffler off of my other 170 and put it on this one since it is soooo much better shape,, i had to do some mods to the plastic so i can adjust the carb but thats all i had to do,, my other 170 got the non adjustable carb and unmodded muffler,, least for now until i can find another wt215 carb,,, it will make a good back up,, here is the pics,, now remember all i did was wipe the dust off,,

I hate to be critical, but if you look @ pic #2, there's some dirt on the sparkplug.

That said, Suck doesn't pertain to your adventures anymore, I think DISGUSTING is more appropriate.

Nice job, just don't let CAD cloud your judgement, LOL

I realize it's pretty much new, but aren't they $179 brand new from the dealer?

199.00 new around here plus tax,, this one was 150 out the door
you are right greg,, but if you have seen all the stuff that they have given me for nothing or dirt cheap then this was a good buy,,, i have made many,,many bucks off of that stuff or traded a lot of it for stuff i needed,, like i said they have been good to us,, normally i wouldn't give more then 130 for one in this condition and even at that i would have to think twice,,,

OK, just a reality check, as an owner of only (10) saws, living in the 'burbs and no wood to cut, I've come to believe that "it's not cad if it's too good to pass up"

My wife says it's OK for me, so it's not CAD.

Lightweight, dependable saws are appreciated at my house. I do quite a bit of pruning and brush clearing. Good on ya for taking care of someone who takes care of you.

This is not really a "you suck" thread, however. There is very little money to be had if you flipped that one. Don't sell yourself short, you have talent- capitalize on it while you can.

Yup, thats a nice one for sure.
Looks like they bought it, used it to cut a limb or two, and sent it on its way.

"yes i suck again but not as bad"

On the contrary Scott, I'm certain that you still suck as bad as you ever did!!!!

Nice little saw though!
I wouldn't take a share of Google for my little 401 Dolmar.
I used the shtuff out of it today and it never whimpered one bit!
Was cutting Pin Oak up to about 12" with it and didn't really need anything bigger.
I have nothing bad at all to say about a small, light, easy handling, powerful chainsaw.

Yes, you do suck - nice saw.

Also, on behalf of many of us, I want to thank you for removing the dental nightmare.

I now enjoy reading your writing again.

it wasn't me that removed it,, the mods had a big meeting and voted it out:hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange:, thats ok,,
