I don't know Stihl saws at all. But, "one hour of run time" and the bar is flipped? Just seemed odd to me. And teh price seemed odd too...

Stihl MS 088Chainsaw

I might be able to shed some light on the bar issue. Its a total pain in the arss to put on a 48 inch bar, and it dosn't really affect how the saw cuts. I believe he put the bar on upside down. He realized his mistake and said the hell with it, Im leaving it that way. Thats how I would have handled it. Besides, if you own an 088 with a 48" bar your in an elite class, and can do pretty much what you want.

Never thought of it that way... if you say so.:msp_w00t:

LEE, send me two Dolmar 166's now! .. AND a rear handle for a Homelite 2000!:hmm3grin2orange::hmm3grin2orange:

Lets see if that works.

Nice saw in back of this one also, not listed yet.

I know this is all pick up only...But with this site we have guys all over the country. I once bought something from the middle of the country and had The Bushweasel pick it up and bring it about 25 minutes from my house. He lives out west and visits home (Ohio) occasionally.

Not saying your going to get that lucky, but I believe one of the members would pick it up and and ship it to you if you really were a nice guy like me :D.

I been to Iowa City a time or two, and have a BIL working there right now. Doubt he could pick it up due to govt. hrs.
