Just got back my NE346xp non CAT from tree monkey. Its 15 below zero out with a wind chill of 30 below or so.Will wait a few hours for it to warm up before I can test it in some wood.I had Scott install a complete 359 intake (with the Walbro carb that he did his magic on)from air filter to cylinder.I also had him install a non limited coil and I replaced the silver clutch cover with an OEM orange one.I had Scott replace the .325 rim sprocket with an 3/8 sprocket and I put a 16" .050x3/8 Oregon Power Match bar with LPX chain.Looks like the 359 air filter will suck a little more air then the stock 346 one:hmm3grin2orange: Sorry about pics but my camera only works with flash in the dark:(

Interesting muffler mod....
If I am not mistaken Scott makes them. And yes,its different but Scott knows what he is doing so I will go with it.If I get bored with it I will replace it and the stock exhaust port with one straight pipe.I do think being in the middle it gets the gases out more betterer.I thought you would say my spike was interesting:hmm3grin2orange:

Pop up or flat top = 225psi? Scott do all the work on this one?
Its a flat top.I think Scott has only done one pop-up and that was on Thors 6400 Dolmar which Thor wanted to be a true ported 6400 and not a big bore or Mahale 79CC ported. And there was no other way to get the compression up on that one and get the numbers right.Scott did all the work.

-2 here this am. Hey it felt like the wind died down. I put 2 tanks thru the redmax yesterday, wow that wind was awful.

Oh come on, you're from MN.
I was there (twin cities area) last weekend. Born and raised there but I was still amazed to see people jogging, cycling and even saw a motorcycle going down the freeway. Temp when I landed was -3. Not sure what temp it got to by noonish but that would be one damn cold ride at 70MPH on a bike.
Point is, you're used to it. Get out there.

BTW, great looking saw.

That is what I tell everyone from down south "its not the cold its the wind".I might will stay inside all day, look for a job maybe and get my drink on and keep the stove stocked:cheers:It was so cold the dog wouldn't go out and urinated and pooped in the house:mad:

Let's see some action shots.

I just came in from being out 90 min. running the dogs and clearing up a few of the neighbors driveways on the tractor. It's -9 here.:msp_razz:

I am still kickn around a 2153 jred. Can you pm me any price info if you don't mind. I don't think I can wait for the 2253.

Nice saw woody, I bet it's gonna rip.

yea, bit of a cold snap here......truck was reading -33F, up in int'l falls this am

I like that you went with the old school clutch cover. I always liked the all orange myself. The silver covers always go to crap after a couple of times in the woods.
