I'm having surgery at 8:30 am tommorow:( Then I'm praying for a fast recovery. Doc said six weeks of no work so I'll be on here more in the next six weeks than I have since I've joined. I'm hoping that I can soon work on some saws. I have a Stihl 460 thats getting ported and cut on the lathe. I have a Stihl 361 thats getting a big bore kit and ported and lathed. Then a Husky 372:msp_scared: thats getting an overhaul with porting and lathe work. I'm sure I'll be well enough to run the lathe and carbide sooner than six weeks:msp_sneaky:
Has anybody else had pilonidal cyst's removed. It's not really a cyst but more of an abcess. Right in your crack is where there found. Doc said it happens in men more than women and usually happens between the age of 18 and 35. It's quite embarrassing:( I've showed my ass to more docs and nurses than I care too. Well I be back on in a few days.

My thoughts are with you and your malady. Will enjoy you being on the website more.

I hope you are able to utilize and enjoy your time off.

Ouch! That post made me laugh when I was on the Fire Dep. once a year we had to get the finger to check the prostate! Yes it sucked especially when I had a female (pretty hot) Doctor's Assistant who was about my age check mine :) Bright lights, no music, no dinner! Just straight to business. God I felt so violated. She didn't even call me the next day :(
Anyway my prayers are with you!

Had it done when I was 'bout 16.
jumped back on the motorcycles, etc, as soon as it quit smarting
and ended up with a lumpy spot of scaring tissue.

Wished I'd listened to more of what the Dr told me

....young and invincible feeling....

I'm going to get the serious stuff out of the way first. I hope every thing goes well and a speedy recovery. Mabey get a piece of mistletoe tattooed there? Lol

Also for a straight doctor...

He'll never know if the Dr. was straight or not and he's gonna be sore back there anyways so....

Just getting ready to head to the hospital now. I had to check AS before I leave and was glad I did. I got a couple laughs out of the posts and that was just what I needed. Thanks again for the support!

Very simple operation. I would actually call it a beginners operation. Just last week I did two. But I'm a guest at the surgical department right now. Very typical for young fellows.
Usually we send, depending on the size and infectious situation, the patients home the next day. Is it inflaminated at the moment? If yes he might have to leave it open a little bit so that it granulates from the inside out. Just be sure that it is removed completely because they have a habit of returning if not removed completely.

Nothing to worry about, see you in two days. Just make sure you have your notebook cord with you so that you can stay online!

Good luck and enjoy your stay!
