I asked Brian if he could get some 503422201 PTO side seals for a PP475 for one of our colleagues and he did.

They are $10.43 CDN each (you have to get used to CDN prices). I have no idea how many his distributor has but if any of you are interested, pm me and I will ask him to order more.
I think it took about three weeks to get them. I'm picking the first order up this Sunday.

I'd be in tested in a couple

Sounds good Jeff :msp_thumbup: I'll trade ya a T-shirt for a set of decals. :D
I hear ya with the "Linksbucks" pain in the ass thing. :msp_mad: I havn't been able to get on at all the last couple days because of it. All of a sudden it worked this afternoon. I tried different browsers, different PC's, none would get me on Arboristsite. I hope they get it taken care of for good..SOON!!!

Gregg,

Your set has already been paid for buddy.

If any of you guys need to get ahold of me, email me at my forum name here at aol.com, or if you have my number call me there. I can check my email on my phone... And on top of the hacker BS, my TWC modem is crapping out at the house. I refuse to continue my "lease" on this thing, and bought a compatible unit that should be here in a few days. Sometimes I can stay on the internet for 30 minutes, sometimes it will boot me in a couple. I keep resetting the thing, just doesn't always keep me on. I think I have everyone covered that messaged me about decals, but if you aren't sure email me. Looking forward to seeing everyone.

Thanks for Google tip there Tim. I was just reading some threads on it in the chainsaw forum. I think I have ALL my browsers messed up one way or another, from what they were, trying to get passed the Linkbucks thing. LOL
I normally use Firefox on this PC, but use IE & Chrome also. Will try setting Chrome up to deal with it I guess.

Gregg,

Just add the QuickJava addon to firefox and you can disable/enable javascript on the fly (along with Java, Flash, Silverlight, Cookies, Images, Animated Images, and CSS stylesheets). Hopefully someone will exterminate the LinkBucks malware soon!

46cc Craftsman-Poulan

I bought this saw off craigslist last Feb and could only get it to run wide open. I thought it had an air leak but after changing fuel line and gaskets and diaphragm it seems to be running good. I have the Lo 2 1/2 out and the Hi 3 turns out. Does that seem like to much, I don't want to cover up a leak with fat jetting? It will set and idle just below where the chain starts turning and I ran a tank of gas through it cutting a small ash. I need a cover-chain brake and muffler heat shield for it. I think I will post in the swap section for that and some other stuff when the Linkbucks situation is resolved.
I tried to post a picture of the saw but I am using Chrome with the Javascript blocked and could not get one to load.

Thanks,
Gregg

Thought you guys would like this video, I thought it was a pretty cool contraption.

Andy, That thing is cool.:msp_thumbup: Wonder how that would work with a Poulan Super72 gear reduction drive. 92cc lots-o-grunt. Trouble is..I don't have a Super72 or smart enough to build that winch contraption to find out...LOL

I have found some of the newer poulans do in fact take quite a few turns out as a setting. Why they went from 1 turn out as a ballpark i don't know.

If you are worried about leaks..only way to really know is to test it.

Just accumulate more free or cheap poulan junkers, that is the easiest way to get spare parts. most small engine shops will have a pile out back.

That is really cool.

FWIW I got the Poulan 46 Bow saw all ready to go for the GTG. Found I couldn't get the missing washer I needed for the clutch right now but found the 2 shoe style with the regular coil springs from a 54 is a direct fit and it works just fine.

Got a thin line 18" roller nose bar on a junker Remington saw today and thought it would be a better bar to put on my Poulan 47 so I cleaned it up, sharpened the chain and it cut well but I found the oiler to not be working again.. .

It appears the the inlet check valve is not working and allowing it to pump oil back out the inlet line. Will see what I can do about that tomorrow.

Seems I cant post pictures with the Java disabled......

When was the GTG? I'm thinking Gregg posted that it was on the 12th or 13th but it has been a while and this crap with the pop up's on AS has kept me from getting on here lately. I hope I didn't miss it...

What carb is on that saw?My 46cc Poulan runs at 1 3/4 on the Low and 1 1/2 on the high and i can say it runs on the rich side.Does the saw hold the tune?

As for the Linkbucks.Type on Google:NoScript for firefox. Then instal the addon and after the restart of firefox you will see an "S" with a "!" beside the address bar.If you click that symbol, you can block the Linkbucks only.If you use a different browser, type Noscript for the browser you use.

It's a Walbro WT529 on 87 Oct with ethonol-3 1/2 oz oil- 1 oz seafoam. At WOT out of the cut it blubbers some, and will set and idle just after cranking cold. I think it's a little rich on both ends but thats better than lean. That said I don't know a lot about 2 stroke diaphram carbs.
I have the scrips disabled on Crome in the house but can't log on. I'm in the garage on a old Ubuntu with a no scripts add on now.

Well i am far from an expert too.2 1/2 on the low seems ok but 3 turns on the high seems too much but that depends on each carb.Have you adjusted the height of the needle lever properly?

Only way to be sure for air leaks is a vacuum/presure test.
