Guys, I don't need saws of this size for cutting firewood. I picked up the 505 from someone that needed cash, and it's a bear. The Jonsered 920 has a new piston and rings, the chain that it came with had the rakers taken way down and I dropped it in a piece of Oak and blew the rim in half. One stout saw. Send me a pm if you have an interest and I'll set up some pics. The 920 needs a chain brake, but don't they all?

Home for lunch so ran and got some pictures, here goes.

Anyone on the fence about that 505, jump off and grab it!
It would help if there was a price, I thought $275 was for the Jred? I made a trade offer & thought if he rejects that he would tell me the $ must be a secret or more than I can handle :)

I guess that I missed putting that in your PM, I"m asking $225 for the 505 power head and shipping. The 920 I had at $275 and shipping, but I might be a tad high, sorry that I left that out man. kz

I think your prices are fair. The 920 has the full-wrap handle which are getting hard to come by. Hell, even when a 505 piston and cylinder were available (which they aren't anymore,) they went for $214.55. So a parts saw for not much more is a good deal.

No problem KZ, I done bought a lot lately, & without some kinda trade my pockets are too thin. Man that is fair on the 505. JJ maybe Im wrong, but I guess I took its a bear meaning it runs good, not a parts saw?

The 505 is on it's way to Wyoming as soon as the PP is sent. I really hated to part with that saw, it has the power of my old Pioneer 52 and smooth. But! I ended up with a 045 super and a few other goodies yesterday, so I guess I can't cry.

Well I think broke was this issue more than snoozing - i did make a trade offer. Nice snag. I got a pretty nice 330 on the way that fit my budget a little better :)

Still have the 920 ( and a couple dozen others) and would like to thank all of the people that PM'ed with interest. The 505 is in the box and headed out tomorrow if all goes well. The dogs are in a envelope in the bottom if your reading. kz
