Sold my ms390 even before I got the chance to drop it in some wood[emoji15]
At least it will be going to a good home.
Now I have to fill the 60cc hole again [emoji12]

Perhaps I could help you there, I could sell you a couple of late pro mac 610's real cheap,, any bloke worth his salt would just love to have a pro mac 610 on his ute . yes I can hear the excitement from here, these beauties have all the good gear standard like a chain brake, oiler that works some times and a piston that lays flat like its asleep. I did say cheap, like zero, I could better the offer by throwing in an extra pro mac 610 free with a condition ''never return to sender'' sticker on the box. :)

Have a listen to this interview folks, a bit of trouble with in our local community. I grew up with the truck owner in question, after an incident with one of his trucks, Ray Hadley had a field day with him. I think Greg could of dealt with the interview with some more thought instead of trying stand over Hadley.
he should of just hung up instead of letting hadley push his own agenda

Down a hole is the best place for those horrid saws.

Fellas ,looking at fitting a electric trailer brake control kit to my vehicles ,what do you guys recommend ?

I recently fitted a "TEKONSHA P3 PRODIGY", an excellent unit- http://www.etrailer.com/Brake-Controller/Tekonsha/90195.html

I had fitted the exact same one. Works fantastically. [emoji106]

What vehicles did you fit them too?
How much detail was in the wiring manual?
Was the Manual and drawings accurate?

I fitted the factory tow bar to the Colorado and had to take it back to the dealer to have the ECU reprogrammed for towing.

I fitted a iron-man canopy to the Colorado,
the instructions for wiring the brake light was wrong.
The drawings was so bad i could not tell if it was for the correct model.
Contacting iron-man was fruitless. they knew it was wrong.
I was told how to do it via email, wrong again
I was given a third set of how to instructions, wrong again.
I end up pulling the hood lining out to find the correct wiring for the tail light
I had previously fitted this brand to a Mitsubishi Triton and the canopy fitted well and the instructions were clear and accurate.

The Colorado has a 4WD select switch same as the ranger and it does not work
First time dealer said it was a loose connector, I called BS as I had already checked it out.
I invited the service manger out to the car park to have a look and the same fault lights were up on the dash
I had to book it in for a ECU module a week latter.
The switched worked four times and died.
Took it back to be fixed and instead of fixing it they did a 15000 klm service ( odometer reads 3700 klm)
Paid for the service.
Invited the service manger back out to the car park again to look at the fault lights
I have to take it back next week for a new servo motor to be fitted

derwoodii

There is no commercial hire of rag and stick boats in Townsville like you get in the Whitsundays.

If you call the yacht club maybe you can do a private hire?

There are houseboats for hire in the Hinchenbrook channel

Mine is fitted to AU falcon, the wiring is simple,
Black - 12v (via Circuit Breaker) at the Battery
Red - Cold side of Brake switch
Blue - Trailer Plug
White - Earth at the battery

There's heaps of info on this model controller on the web.
