As soon as this Christmas crap is over this will be me!....kickin back here at my favourite fishin spot!:havingarest:

That looks like the plan,,,,, I wish I wish I wish but alas I am still on the job till tomorrow arvy. Cutting 150x150 x 3.6 centre heart posts today out of iron bark and tallow wood, fall down is 100x90x3.0 stays and 100x100x1.8 posts, what a chore.
Living the dream I suppose.

can i put on a bigger cc jug and piston but run the same carby setup

sh1t hey peter:( it was working ok the other day wasnt it? run it at about 30:1 and she'll have plenty of lube.

Peter that cylinder looks like it will clean up, any deep scoring in it?, you may just need a new piston Meteor would be my choice.

yeah i would give that a go peter. clean her up with some hydrochloric acid wash it out and a bit of scotch bite. fresh piston and away u go. i am sure you'll find a piston no probs for it. just shipping this time of year will suck.

ive only got a wheel cylinder honer here to clean it up with so contacted MCW to see if he wants to do it, if the cylinder can be saved thats great, i dont have the gear to do the job myself so have to get some one else to do it, bitty matt,s in sa though
And to answer your other question, long story short, i put cord in the cylinder and piston was down too far, i broke the ring and piston scored the barrel
Regards Peter

i would love to do it for you but just as far away at matt.

i have used a rattle gun for the clutch, every time it gets it off without needing to put rope on the plug hole. i also got the right tool "piston stop" for when doing it up. i like to double check with hand torqueing it.

Ladies and gentlemen, just in at the servo and what did I see,,,,, a BSA bantam 125 with all the chrome and stuff.
Anyway I has a look at it close and the owner come and started talking about it,,, something looked different about it and I couldn't see any BSA markings anywhere.
The guy said its not a BSA at all, its a Chinese copy of a BSA Bantam, and some of the chrome was actually chrome plastic.
He said he paid $3000.00 for it on road and insured and come up the highway from Sydney at 80kmh, he said it will do 90 down hill.
Electric start 125 Chinese BSA copy, what's next ??????
