The probably disconnected the battery for 10 seconds then reconnected it. :)

Vince, tell us about the new toy!!
It's a linear driven machine. No ball screws. Accurate as!! Friggin fast both in spindle speed and axle movement.
We clocked up 9500 hrs on the spindle on the last machine and it's only 26 months old. Top of the line machines from DMG for tool and die work.
Travel is around 1100 x 800 x 660 mm and can take 1 ton on the table.
Oh and using a heidenhain controller.
Oh, and it's made in Germany [emoji106]

Do you guys have a CNC lathe and machine 4140?

A bunch of JASO rating comparisons to other standards when compared to a reference oil is shown on pages 2 and 3.

For this harebrain, when comparing the differences between FB and FC, it looks like little to no lubricity difference, near on half the exhaust blocking, slightly better detergency.

Oil threads, gotta love 'em.

I looked into it a while back when a thread was going on about HP ultra being only FB and others oils where higher rated and cheaper and people thought that made them 'better'

The baby of the two Husky saws arrived today. Little 440-e
Starts first pull, runs sweet. Light and nimble for what I need it for...tree pruning, fencing, camping, small diameter fire wood and anything on the farm that needs a trim.
Easy on my piss-weak back and muppet arms too!
Definitely popped its cherry. Went to trim a few raggedy old lucerne trees. Two tanks of fuel later...
I have a new view and a sweet 2-stroke cologne again :chainsaw:

BluTooth isn't playing nice. Pics to come.

It's HSK63. Best suited for the rpm
flash! I see stuff like that at the trade show every couple of years but for now I'm stuck running a 10 year old 4 axis quantum vmc, slightly bigger than that but no where near as strong. We got 3 of them and a couple of c axis lathes. Wouldn't mind having a bit of a go at a 5 axis one. What cad/cam package do you use?

Cool!! We use worknc been using that for the past 15 years. And UG for modeling.

Ladies and gentlemen, just in at the servo and what did I see,,,,, a BSA bantam 125 with all the chrome and stuff.
Anyway I has a look at it close and the owner come and started talking about it,,, something looked different about it and I couldn't see any BSA markings anywhere.
The guy said its not a BSA at all, its a Chinese copy of a BSA Bantam, and some of the chrome was actually chrome plastic.
He said he paid $3000.00 for it on road and insured and come up the highway from Sydney at 80kmh, he said it will do 90 down hill.
Electric start 125 Chinese BSA copy, what's next ??????
Bob might like to buy one Neil grab his #

Oh yeah. We use solid edge for modeling and gibbscam for programming. Seems everyone you talk to uses something different! I suppose no different to most machines having a different controller. You get used to the differences after a while.
