As Brad said, he hasn't been seen in several years. There was a big dust up when somone posted public information from the web that others took exception to.

No, he is not porting chainsaws anymore. He hasn't posted here since April 2013; same with SHs. I do not know him personally but know someone who does. Do you need to contact him for something other than porting a chainsaw?

he stopped porting saws after the fire and subsequent rebuild of his shop?

I don't know any of the details, but quite a few saws were never returned and had to be recovered by other helpful AS members. It was all kept hush hush for some reason. I was never in the know.

A few of the less-than-clear 'details' are coming back to me.

Life can spin a person around, and sometimes getting things back in order isn't easy. I hope that all is well with Stumpy & his family, and that any saw issues have been satisfactorily resolved.
