your phone was probably blowing up from all the people mentioning your name. You ever decide on a mill?
Ha, yeah i was wondering.
I'm set on the HF, but I keep finding other things to buy in the mean time.

Ok boys I'm still waiting on some drills but I'm gonna go ahead and do the oiler mod. There's a few threads on here of how to do this but simply unscrew the white cap. Pull out the spring and rod. Mill the end of the rod market with an M 10° steeper. Polish smooth with sand paper and reassemble. That little step right that makes quite a difference in the way these oil. View attachment 446623
video i posted was a pretty sad one but it at least gave you an idea. The belt was wore out and needed replaced so it would stall out easy. I am still using mine with no problems except for replacing the belt. I will say that next time i am going to try different bands other than cooks. I have 2 skids full of poplar we milled up and that stuff was a breeze. Hickory....not so much. It is all getting turned into firewood from now on.Ha, yeah i was wondering.

It's coming. The 6100s will be first. But let me get football and softball season outta the way and then I'll hit the saws hard. As you see this threads taking me a little while. Lol. However I'm pretty sure I'm not gonna go back in this saw. Coil mod and carb mod away from a vid.@MillerModSaws Not to derail any further but when you tearing into a 421. I'm really curious to see a 421 against a 260 stock and ported. See if my seat of the pants feelings hold up to video proof
Don't be a hater! You won't find a more comfy shirt!Where can I get one of those sweet sleeveless shirts?
Run away. You'll want one when your done. Lol.I am glad one of your saws will be in Ky. I hope to get a chance to run it.
UNLIMITED COIL. Well here's my thought. This makes the saw so much easier to tune it's not funny. In the vid that saw is still running really rich. However if your cutting in hard wood all the time you can absolutely get bye without this mod. My last cuts where in maple and this mod was really nice cause the saw was running about 13300 in the cut with light pressure so it would have been bouncing off the rev limiter if this mod wasn't done. Or you would have had to just simply push on the saw a bit harder. Lol.
