Well since the395XPG are discontinued, might as well scoop up while the getting is good. The decal got a blemish on the ride here, but otherwise OK. Great deal and service from Spike 60, kudos he Da Man!

For perspective: a 346XP

My Mastermind 395xp is the most impressive saw I have ever run. It is stupid strong.
Mine too, it pulls a 50" bar as well as my Masterminded 088 with, oh so much less, weight.

I do think the MM 395 would pull a 60" and possibly a 72" bar if it could oil it. And I have run most of the big saws a good bit if that says anything. For those that doubt this, remember the Husky 2100 was rated for a 60" bar and the 395 is way, way, more saw than a 2100.

At the County Fair this Summer, we had some races. With a large cant the 660's, 661's and my 288 XP were running around 15 second times. The first run with a 395 with only a base gasket delete I had a 12 second. I could push and pull as hard as I could and the pitch of the motor did not change. Just amazing.

FWIW, my 288 spanked a 661.:buttkick:

Perhaps posing that 395 next to this would have offered a better perspective.

If you can find a large enough tree, I am positive that 395 will impress you!

Nice saw!

Most of the wood I get is cut offs from log landings so it's real big. There is no carting a saw around through the woods. The farthest I carry one is from the truck to the log pile. This is typical.

I had two roll off containers last Winter, a 30 & 40 yarder. This had some big stuff too.

The 5' log in the center was about a ton.

:baaa: No No, there is only one McCinderblock. The 395 is a big orange brick though.

First cut I ever made with the 395xp, it pulled so hard thru a Oak log racing to the bottom that I had to actively pull up on it and hold it back. Finished the cut, stood up with the saw, looked around with a big grin and was like, "oh ****, did that just happen!":happybanana:

Wonder why they would discontinue a heated version of a 395xp? do they have a replacement in the works? I like my heated saws.
