For sale is a ported 260. Saw was run yesterday at the CT GTG.

Saw specs:

44mm red lever jug
103.5/118/78
220 psi compression
Squish at a safe .022
New Walbro WT194 carb
Muff modded w custom shield welded on
Timing advanced 6*
16" Rollomatic .325 bar and chain
Squishband cut flat
Piston crown cut flat
Runs a single top caber ring
Taching at 16k and 4 stroking
AM covers

Looking for $300 plus shipping. Getting rid of saw to make room for more.

Please note, this saw needs a custom flat top piston if replacement is needed. The piston in it now is OEM and had some carbon smears on it before assembly. I shoulda used a new meteor in retrospect. I will cut a new meteor or OEM for the buyer, free of charge, at anytime in the foreseeable future. The piston is the same as assembled.

Pics to follow.

Wow.. Nice saw! I use an 026 for the majority of my tree work up here in Alaska. I've been keeping my eye out for a nicely built runner such as yours for a while. Any chance you would ship to AK?

I'll ship anywhere you want to pay for.

This is pure hobby for me. Looking to just get my cash back on the builds, not turn a crazy profit.

I have 7 more of the model to port here. I plan on doing every single one as time permits.

I'm interested. I don't need a .325 bar though, would you be intrestle in keeping the bar and chain and working on the price a bit? Shipping will be to zip code.99645, prolly around $40-50 USPS Parcel Post.

"Work" on a $300 woods ported 026 that runs ?

$299.99....."work" completed.

Wow..........just flabergasted at the extreme level of pig-phallus.....just wow

Stop into a museum (or get a human to explain what they are and take you there) I'm sure they will have a ridiculously underpriced masterpiece on sale and will cut their price if you don't want the frame.

I'm curious, if not for racing why use single ring? I have not worked on a 2-ring saw so I have no idea what kind of extra drag they have. What is the point of 2-ring anyway on small diameter 2T, if end gap is set right blowby should be almost non-existant. Maybe I answered my own question.
