HAHAHAHA,,, got you to look :laughing::laughing::laughing::laughing:,, a friend of mine has 30 acres,, half fields and have woods,, she wanted a tree taken down,, she wanted to pay me and i told her the wood is payment,, any who,, thought it was a walnut tree but found out after it was down it was a red elm,,, now to the saw,,, did my front cut,, no problem,,, got half way though my back cut and decided to wedge it,, so drove the wedge in and freaking hit the wedge with my saw:angry::angry:,, had to burn through the cut,, throwing dust,,, she started going over i missed my freaking mark by 6 inches:angry:,, oh well better luck the next time,,, so i changed the chain and got to cutting with that dang POS echo cs400 and it didnt miss a beat:laugh::laugh: and you thought i blew it up,,,, any who,, got the tree laid down and i had it bucked and branched in 30 minutes,,, that was work time but with me having to stop and rest it was about an hour,,, total work time was about 1 1/2 hours start to finish but i was there over 3 hours,,,,,i found out today i cant do this stuff anymore which i already knew,,,,,, hate to say but i sat on that log for at least 15 minutes crying like a baby,, yep i am 53,,, this little echo didnt wear me out it was all the cutting,,, it would have taken me all day if i still had that 372 still ,,,,tried to get help but no one wanted to make any money,,, well any way got it all home and ready to split and stack in the wood shed,, that will be a 2 day job IMG_1937.JPG IMG_1938.JPG IMG_1939.JPG

More concerned about you, but happy to see you getting out. You still off the meds ?

yea man,,,,, all i am on now is just pain control,,,, right now i wish i had some morphine,,,,, a week ago i had a small heart attack again then a couple of weeks ago i had 2 small strokes in one day,, i was messed up after those,,,,, yep it felt good to get out and throw some chips even though it plain wore me out and took most of the day,,, but i know to trust god
 
how well will the cs400 pull a 18in bar? I put a 14in on mine as soon as I got it.

Stop paying the snackies and buy some cheap wedges. I used to use one when I first started cutting and found out quickly a seven dollar wedge pays for itself fast. also take care of yourself. we need you around here for a long time. At 53 you're still a youngster.

thanks,,,,, but right now it is in Gods hands completely,,,,, dont feel to bad right now considering but i am not feeling to much either
 
I've been debating on pulling the trigger on an echo. I've never ran their chainsaws but I had an echo trimmer for years and I couldn't kill it, made some money with that little thing, best trimmer I ever used imo
