So I went to an auction in Louisville yesterday that was held by a tree service. There was an arrogant loud mouthed fellow that worked for the tree service there. He proceeded to tell me that all the saws were junk and smiled as he "ripped me off." I bought them anyway..

I bought 2 husqvarna 385xps, a 372xp, 2 262xps, a husqvarna 50, a stihl 036 pro, a stihl 441 magnum, a stihl 009, an echo top handle, a husqvarna top handle, a jonsered 630, and some echo hedge trimmers.

My total on all the saws was $790. After minor tinkering, the 036 pro runs like a dream, the echo top handle is good, one 385xp runs great and the other is trying to run and the 372xp runs like new.. I thought that was decent for a day at the sale.

you overpaid by about 90 bucks and should have left the Husky 50, stihl 009, two top handles and trimmer behind but yeah you SUCK!!!
welcome to AS
I would easily have offered $100.00 each for the pro Huskys and Stihls if they were complete.

The arrogant dude was hoping to take them home and flip them in his garage :)

Well he was the guy who said he bought the farm and tree service. Didn't look like he could afford the dollar menu at mcdonalds. I told the wife I might call him and see if he needs to buy some saws. ;)

Please don't hate on my organizational methods.. I'm a redneck.

Having been in your garage I am not sure what "organizational methods" may be in play. You interested in a trade for a trash pump...? ;)

Nice score, might have to stop by and take a look at your goodies.

Definitely. You know alot more than I do about this stuff. I thought it was all junk before I started playing with it. I've moved into the basement because I can't walk through the garage.

That little Husky top handle looks like the 338xpt we have at work... Aside from yours missing the tail cover it looks to be in better shape than the one at work I take up in the bucket all the time! LOL!

Well, you already got enough to justify what you paid, so once the others are working, it's all gravy..you suck! ;)

Yea he said they were missing enough parts that none of them would run. I found that it was a bar nut here and a cover there. I think most of them are worth ordering the parts for. Now if I can get all the sharpie and white out off..
