This is my O28 Super. It sat beneath my work bench for close to a year.It required everything from the clutch on out. Oiler pump gears needle bearings. I replaced the 3/8 BC with a 18 inch 325.Read to rock and roll.View attachment 477941

Yeah she is a runner. Very loud runner. 20 lbs no bar n chain and empty. It's a good way to peeve the neighborhood if you run it for 15 minutes
>>> NO DOUBT LOUD. I wear ear plugs and ear muf both to run mine. Sounds like a Harley 2-smoker./20150521_193654.jpg

Thanks for the kind words. I have as of yet to use it but am looking forward to cut some wood very soon. New RS chain and bar. I actually feel guilty as I only payed $25 just for the power head. Ran a compression test and it blew 155.Idles great so the crank seals are good. Carburetor responds to adjustments.Of course the parts along with the new BC ran me close to $150.

At the moment, my FAVORITE saw is my Jonsered 2260,

It runs perfect, and without being too heavy, it has very good power,

Ok ... granted, she's definitely not the prettiest gal at the party, but she's a tighty, REAL spunky, on the small side so likes to ride along with me in back of the seat, and loves to play with my wood! She's always game for me to whip her out and rev her up for a hard bucking joy ride.

uploadfromtaptalk1452993974518.jpg @deaves61 just lowered the squish put a oem 45mm p/c deleted the base gasket and did a mm I haven't ran it yet he posted a video of my saw this morning. I bought this saw for$40 with three new chains weekend warrior box(use it for sitting on when I change brakes) the guy I bought it from said it was junk do I want it lol. Sure I say. Get it home and he pryed the clutch cover off because the chain brake was still engaged. He bent the chain brake ring. Under further investigation the piston was scorched because of the plastic intake clamp. I mailed it to deaves61 he has had it a week and it's already put back together. I am thinking this one will be a favorite too:rock: its a 2002

I have had a few tough times lately and he was being an awesome neighbor. I thought I was going to build it until I took it apart and it set in my garage for 6 months in 20 piece's.
