Stikkan... kindling cutter. Anyone have any experience or thoughts on this?

I like putting a bunch of wood inside an old car tire and chopping away with my axe until it's all kindling-sized. Do this with a few car-tire's worth, maybe 5 minutes, to get a whole bunch of kindling.

I can see that maybe you could get some very fine strands with it for tinder. Without risking cutting your thumb off... haha. Or you could use it even after a few drinks... It looks like it'd be fun to play with

Forget mounting it outdoors. I see nothing about it that requires an outdoors mount. Why not mount it right next to your stove and just create kindling or tinder as needed?

I suppose you'd want to anchor it in very well to whatever type of wall you have. And it could maybe make a mess of slivers, shavings or bark? But yeah, why not!

I could see that being useful to this generation. :)
yup, that's what you get when all kids go to college, and have no life experiences, along with someone else doing everything for them...
a solution to a problem that never existed...a hatchet/axe has worked just fine since they were invented...and they do it faster with less effort!
