I never would have found that part. MaybevI should try to trade for two S25 DA diaphragm's.
Good idea. Post them over in the old mag swap meet and ask for the Poulan diaphragms

I only tell friends an family about Poulan greatness. I don't mind the others with blinders. Let them to go into the orange light at the end of the tunnel. I enjoy heading for Green pastures.
@fossil Elux has a decent run with the 3300 style frame. Just think if they didn't stop at 60cc's and kept going to a 70+cc version. Would have been one of the best power to wt ratios ever and a real screamer!

True except that series of saws were all Poulan designs and were out before the Elux takeover.
I was thinking about maybe finding a 3300 p/c and put it in my 2800.

Probably designed and tested many years before.
From my understanding the 2800 3000 came out in 1986. The rest followed later.

We been doing chain build offs on chainsaw repair site sooooooo.
Being I had some cant wood left over, today I thought hmmmm wonder what my stock poulan 415 65cc could do.
Trying to pull a 3/8 8T and aggressive chain I filed for a 3120 long ago. I think it would be faster with the 3/8 7 as the chain and 8 suks the saw down somewhat.
Was hoping the pine cant would be forgiving with me pushing on it.
Finger still bleeding from just putting that dang chain on.
Being I had some cant wood left over, today I thought hmmmm wonder what my stock poulan 415 65cc could do.

I can only judge by what I see listed on eBay. The only 3400s I see bring decent money are the seriously clean ones.
Something tells me the folks looking to buy a 3400 or 3700 are adding to their collection, or wanting one for parts. The average person looking for a reliable used chainsaw via eBay will probably be looking at newer saws.
With all that said, it is a shame that a 3400 that has been properly put right for actual use for many years won't fetch $100.00.

There is a 77cc version in the FS section here. I prefer the quad ported smaller cc ones though.

Got the updated 65cc version in a 425 too. Just cant get in the mood to finish putting it back together. Crank bearing went out.

Kevin, As I recall you had a problem similar to that, at the last Poulan GTG we had.
