I believe the other piston is a 550 set up.I now have a complete 410 top end. Finally pieced it all together. One more piston to figure out. It measures 50 mm or 2" thin ring and is taller then the 410it is the one on the left. 450?

Torrington inner races come in a multitude of sizes. Bore X outside diameter X length. Length is usually a 1/32" longer than the drawn cup needle or caged roller assembly's.

Tim, that's a very nice looking example you have there. I have one, but not nearly as clean by a long shot. Looks like a low hour saw for sure. Max.
The XL-902AM's are painted like that as well. The XL auto in the pic needs a bit of work. It could likely use a new piston but it runs well. It does need a new oil tank gasket s it weeps oil from the joint. I'll likely never get to it as I don't want to bang it up.
Homelite certainly were the masters of nice paint jobs. I t must have been an expensive process especially where there are two colors on a part. They remind me of those cool looking two tone GM's and Fords from the 50's.

I have a Christmas xl automatic too great running saw. It has run hard all its life, it is a 1965 model. The paint is faded from the sun. I know the xl500 came in the same color scheme also.

No need for Homelite parts. Have these pump diaphragms but no Homelite saws. Would like to trade for Poulan S25 da diaphragms if feasible.
