This saw is ported by Moody, and has the el-46 carb. I have a few other ported 60cc saws, and don't feel like fixing it. The saw is in overall excellent condition. Glock37 powdered the clutch cover orange... the color is slightly off, but it still looks good. The saw starts and runs, but has a stumble off idle. The saw runs good at WOT.

I think it should be said that although Moody didn't conduct business in a way most people felt was appropriate. He did know how to port a saw and did build some fast & strong saws.

I was wondering that when I saw his name mentioned. I've never seen one of his saws, but from what I have read the general consensus is as you stated sunfish.

How much is a new carb for these. I am suspecting that is what it needs to cure the stumble? That is if the stumble even bothered you.

Sometimes reflashin the tune will help.
I had a 555 that I put a 562 p&c and had reflashed with 562 tune,loved it.
I then got a 562xpg ,then sold 555 to my brother.
I love mine!
My Husky dealer told me after reflashing or on new ones to start the saw let it warm up on idle then WOT for 3min no load and that will set it.
I had a hard time doin that on the new 562 but have 4yr warranty so thats what I did.
havent had any issues yet.
My 2 cents.

Is it still for sale? Also, what is wrong with it? You said you don't have time to fix it? Were the seals replaced yet?

It seems the carburetor is the problem with the "stumble" off of idle, but running well at WOT.

I'll text my good friend Clinton, and let him know you are interested.
