Would a really nice concrete saw do the trick? I havery a whole saw that I've had on the back burner for two years. I have a hundred in it.
I am not familiar enough to know for sure, the rear handle has some different pieces from the 08S which was popular for a long time as a stop handle with many attachments, I don't think a concrete saw would work but I might be wrong.
Tramp 295 is doing the work, perhaps he will chime in here.

Dave is your S 10 high handle or low handle ?

If it is the top handle we are talking about I believe it is higher than the one in the picture.
Randy said it had an unusual cylinder aluminum with a liner and then chrome plated, hopefully it cleans up well 47mm, if that helps.

The s-10 for Dave in question is a rear handle.
It has a cylinder I have never found on a stihl that has a iron or steel chromed liner.
IPL shows it in a cylinder and piston kit 1108 020 1202 and says its a corben.
the only one I found was different with the inpulse area.
The one I have here can possible be cleaned up using MMs
method.
But we still need a complete clutch assembly with the drum and bearing.
Also the choke rod and contact spring for the kill switch.
And the front handle plastic support that mounts on the handle and fastens to the side of the starter.
1108 series clutch parts and handle support are the same.
Choke rod and contact spring only from a rear handle s10.

just a wild azz guess they look like some of the 08S mufflers, there seemed to be a ton of them and a few different variations used with specific attachments for that series saw.
I could be waaaay off though.
Shoot me a PM with details on how to get your paid on the handle and I will get it to you along with the shipping address, thanks man
