(Markc) i bought two chain saws. Husky 440E and 450 rancher i was very dissapointed. They were both pieces of junk. Huskey really needs to rework their new saws. Their quality use to be exalent. I would not recomend them at all

Bought them with in the month in n fl.to cut up pine tree yard waste they both have poor carbaration and or chinese made crankshaft seals for them to have starting problems you would think they were a stihl husky use to be a very good name must have gone to china

Especially the (two 440E) and the (450 rancher) husqvarna chainsaws that all had the same problem. Bought the first 440 7/6/2016 to cut up pinetree debree in my yard on 7/ 6 used saw for 1 hour it ran good on 7/7started saw used it for an hour stopped it to taker a break tried to start it back up it would not stat after repeated tries. The next morning tried to start the saw it started rite up used it for about 30 minuts shut it off few minutes later tried to start it it would not start. Took it back to lowes and exchanged it for another 440 e it did the exact same thing took it back to lowes the clerk told us that those saws were being retured and had problems so got a refund and decided to buy a bigger saw bought a 450 rancher. Used it the first day had no problems week later used it for an hour no problems used it today for about 30 minits shut off and it absolutly would not start retured it to lowes for a refund today i will neverr buy a husky again it reminds me of a stihl. Must be mass in china

I'd like to hear a few more details before I decide never to buy another Husqvarna chainsaw...

I'm "shure" he already has you on 'ignore', but if you would enlighten us about how your homeowner clamshell plastic-cased Huskys are poor quality, maybe the conversation could get back on track...

I like some Huskies but the two the OP mentioned are not very representative of the quality that Husky can build. The 450 is so far from the 350, it isn't funny. I guess if you compare them to similar offerings from the "other" orange saw , they are about the same.
