I've got a bar and two chains I don't need. The bar is a 3003 00 8846 32" rollomatic ES 105DL 3/8" .050 gauge and the chains are 3623 005 0105 32" RS 105DL 3/8" .050.

One of the chains is completely new in the packaging. The bar and the other chain are like new in the original packaging. I installed them on my MS660 and made 2 noodle cuts in a 12" log to see how the saw pulls it and it did great but I went to a 36" ES Light bar for lighter weight. You literally cannot tell they used aside from a little bit of wood on the chain.

The bar is $141.99 on baileys and the chains are $85.78 for both for a total of $227.77.

I'd like to get $175+ shipping

I would also trade plus cash for a nice MS260, MS261 or MS261C 2016 model.

I'm not trying to mess with your sale here, but using Bailey's as a reference for stihl prices isn't very accurate. They aren't a stihl dealer (I guess they buy parts from dealers and ship them to customers, or something like that).

I think you should call a stihl dealer to get an accurate price on the bar and chains. Just my .02, though. Good luck with the sale. :)

The two dealers near me are more than baileys. Baileys is also about the same price as they typically go for on eBay. Plus I priced mine over $50 less.

Are you interested in my items or did you just feel the need to crap in my ad? If you're interested PM me an offer of what you think they're worth and justify the value, worst I can don

My location is listed on my profile, you're welcome to come open one up.
That's no way to make friends here, but I suspect that the only reason you are here is to get what your hoping is top dollar for used products.

I guess what I'm trying to say is, @Ryan'smilling is a pretty good dude, don't be an ass to those your trying to sell to.

1. I'm here because this site is a wealth of knowledge for saws, and I lurked for years before joining. I'm not here to sell a thing, I just thought I would offer an item I no longer have a need for.

2. I've bought and sold millions of dollars of goods on internet forums and the general rule of thumb is, don't **** in someones ad. If you believe something is overpriced, then you should PM them.

3. If he or anyone else who kicked in their $.02 were actually interested they would have made an offer of what it was worth to them, and its up to me to decide if its a price I'm willing to sell my item for.

4. If you see something you don't agree with you're allowed to move on.

It's really not any of your business...

Seriously, I don't see the point of somebody posting in this thread unless they're interested in purchasing the item for sale, or unless they have something constructive to ad. So far neither of those have happened.

My thoughts exactly.

I've offered up how I came up with pricing for my items (dealer prices, online stores, and eBay) and I priced my items approx. 25% less than the cheapest place I found the parts at (baileys) for like new items which is generally fair pricing.

All that has happened is my pricing and sources for my pricing being criticized. Yet not one of those doing so could actually offer up appropriate pricing or any explanation or guideline at all. The level of intellect so far hasn't been very high.

the best thing you could do is post pics of what you have for sale. almost every thing that is posted in TP has pics so perspective buyers can get a good idea of what they are spending their money on. not slamming you but you need to do some better research on prices. i just talked to my stihl dealer and i can get the same 3 chains and same brand new bar plus my gas and lunch at mickey d's for less than $200. bear with the fellers here as some have been screwed or know someone who has on a deal gone bad. guys watch each others backs. GLWS

I didn't think pics were really necessary at the time of posting as I figured most people on this site would know what I stihl ES bar looks like. That's Why I accurately described what it is, and the condition (you literally cannot tell it's not brand new).

I'll just keep the thing. More time has been wasted checking the site when I get the email notifications thinking someone actually interested had responded that I've negated any return from it in lost time.

Here ya' go...I priced a 32" 3/8 050 ES Rollomatic, and an ES Light at a competing dealership, and not at the one where I work. If I order through my place of employ, I get a 10% discount.
Note these prices are pre tax.

Awww, thanks man. I appreciate the kind words.

To the OP, I think in my first post, I was clear about saying that I didn't want to mess with your sale. That wasn't my intention then, and isn't now. I just wanted you to know that Bailey's isn't an accurate way to price Stihl stuff, as Jonathon clearly showed. I didn't however say that your price was too high or too low, just that Bailey's isn't a good way to determine a price.

Now that it's been demonstrated clearly, though, I will say that your price was obviously way too high. I am not interested in your item because I bought an Oregon power match 32" bar and Stihl chain from a member here for $90 shipped to my door.

Anyway, I wasn't being sarcastic when I wished you good luck with your sale. If you've lurked here a long time, you'll recognize that expression. It's used in ads all the time and isn't normally tongue in cheek. Also, if you don't want people to reply to your threads, ads or otherwise, with off topic responses, this may not be the place for you. Thread derails are pretty typical around these parts.
