Hi Guys. Just wondering what year and if its an OE or NE? It doesn't feel any stronger than my 345 does so assuming OE.

An OE is a LOT stronger than a 345 or 350 for that matter. If it doesn't feel any stronger than your 345 than its probably OE and/or tired.
Is there a number stamped on the top of the cylinder when you pull the top cover off? 42 would indicate it is on OE.

A bit over 14k. Might want to check for air leak.It feels like it has a lot of compression, but plug is white like it is running to lean. What is no load rpm supposed to be at? I will put my Tach on it.
I have never ran a stock 346, just ported onesAn OE is a LOT stronger than a 345 or 350 for that matter.
Well, they do pretty damn good stock, but do prefer ported. There's also not much difference between OE & NE.I have never ran a stock 346, just ported ones
Most likely. These have that plastic intake boot clamp problem?
I did. Piston looks great. It idles and runs good. Just doesn't feel real strong I guess. Plug looks white but it doesn't sound like its over revving. I will put a tach on it.Feel free to send it to me and I'll try and diagnose the problem over the next few years. Might want to pull the muffler and take a peek for any scoring.
