I’m done ********. Nobody’s fault but mine. Put on my big boy shorts and accept it. Thanks.
Priority Shipping?I just shipped the identical saw to MO using P.O. It cost $46 and took 2 1/2 weeks.
I tried a smaller box and this is the same as a 5105 and I couldn’t get any bubble wrap around the saw to protect it. Screw it, from now on if I can’t sell a saw local to buy another one then I guess that’s how it will be.
re-enter the dimensions at 18x18x16, he put that up in a later post. That's a drag.
I did a sample calculation, making up a Harrisburg, PA and Reno, NV zip code, along with your weight and dimensions:

Came out a little less ($66.44), with about $5 of that being for value above $100. States 'Dimensional Weight . . . used to calculate your rate', so you are getting dinged by the volume of your box. Some cost may be shipping from / delivering to smaller towns (?) and to a residential address. I try to check FedEx, UPS, and USPS rates when shipping something - the differences can be significant sometimes. Don't do enough to have an account with any of them, where you can receive significant discounts.

You're a PIA, you know that @HarleyT ? Good thing that you occasionally contribute some useful stuff, sometimes . . . .re-enter the dimensions at 18x18x16, he put that up in a later post.
Nope. The next cheapest.Priority Shipping?
I used the “heavy duty” box. That's a drag.

P.S. - my local FedEx office has a sign up that they will not accept Home Depot boxes! Said 'too many failures'.
GTG's save on shipping unless they have something I can't live without No wait still save on shipping just spend more while I enjoy the rest of the experience.I just shipped the identical saw to MO using P.O. It cost $46 and took 2 1/2 weeks.

I would have felt better if you had kicked me in the nuts rather than post that. Going to the bathroom and look in the mirror and see if I got drunk and had IDIOT tattooed on my forehead. This is the most expensive package I've sent in the last three months. 70+cc powerhead. Not sure what I'm doing different.

Sorry... If it makes you feel better out of the blue I got charged $35 to ship 70ccs to your neck of the woods last month. Not sure what happened there.I would have felt better if you had kicked me in the nuts rather than post that. Weird part is I just shipped at the same time a Makita 6401, 2 bars and 2 chains to Northfield, MN for $35. Granted it was a Parts saw so no extra ins. but that 6401 with the extra bar and chain is no lightweight but dang. Drivers must get hazard pay for driving thru the desert.Sorry... BFE around here is the major metropolis.I cannot remember if I mentioned in this thread or a different one but it is a function of weight, size, distance, and in certain circumstances the distance from a shipping hub. If they have to truck it out to some rural BFE address it is going to be different than in town.
Fedex seems to have gone up since the new year but still has been pretty fair.
Or have this tattooed. Maybe FedEx said "F___Me? No, F___ You!I would have felt better if you had kicked me in the nuts rather than post that. Going to the bathroom and look in the mirror and see if I got drunk and had IDIOT tattooed on my forehead.
And he wonders why he can't get a jobOr have this tattooed. Maybe FedEx said "F___Me? No, F___ You!

Unless he gets paid with meth.I'd bet my last dollar that getting a job is the last thing on his simple mind.
