As requested here are pix of my Sachs 114. 20" bar. Bought new by my father 6/12/86. Have all the ppwk. Saw is a bit dirty as I just used it.

Any other Sachs Dolmar enthusiasts? Would love a 133!

I have 2 119s and a 113. The 113 is yet to be tested out but the 119s are great. They havent struggled with anything thrown at them and are built like tanks. I think they are great but as often said they are quite heavy. Unlikely to let you down though and easy to work on if they did. I have a ms362 which i am keen to get going to see how it compares to my 119 on a 20” bar. I would like to try a 120si also and a newer Dolmar/makita saw.

There is just something about the sound and smoke of these old muscle saws that I'm drawn to. The weight doesn't bother me much but then again I don't use them daily as some people might . Nice saws!

Yes as you say, for firewood duties on a sawhorse they are superb. Weight not an issue if you are an occasional user.

My one is smallest saw I own. Definitely in worse condition, oldest and ugliest.
However. For the right kind of work, does the job.
I will put it aside, will stop using it. Will replace it with a top handle.
An old granny...

Sorry to bring up and old thread fellas...just wanted to share what I found at dad's in the attic for the Sachs Enthusiasts 20180805_205921.jpg 20180805_205940.jpg

I have never run into a Sachs-Dolmar, Dolmar, or Makita owner who ever said that they didn't like what they bought. The only reason more sawyers do not own very many of them around here is because the nearest dealer is miles away -- probably Kansas City.

I just started using the 114 frequently and while it does lug I did find myself desiring quite a few more cc' s. A 133 would be a dream but I haven't found any for sale.
