I just bought a new Jonsered, looking at an echo
etc.... I don’t even have any trees on my property
and don’t burn wood either....
I think of it as preservation. The older saws are slowly disappearing and good examples of the older ones are getting harder to find. If you want to cut wood, use a newer saw. If you want to recondition and restore an older a saw to excellent condition, I wouldn't worry too much about using it a lot. That's just how I approach it. I enjoy looking at a nice restored saw, just like I like to look at a nice restored car or truck. I'm old enough to be nostalgic about these things.Yup good thought. But I hate to see the good running ones sitting here.
I don't know but my old lady wood be happy if I only had 3 hell I bought 5 parts saw last month. Pretty sad when you ask post office to hold all boxes for pickup just so you don't have to here nagging, ***** and her favorite line I'm leaving. Really I'm not that lucky.I think of it as preservation. The older saws are slowly disappearing and good examples of the older ones are getting harder to find.
