Born and raised in Berkley, now in Luther S.W. of Cadillac 36 years. Never been to the Dream Cruise, we lived it 1955 to 1970 lots of good car racing on what Life Magazine called the longest drag strip in the world, Woodward Ave.
Any of you want to see good Lumberjack racing come up to Luther on June 30th and Fife Lake on July 1st, some of the best in the world.

Just heard about the 30th the other day. What kind of event is this going to be? Friendly GTG, organized competition, big-names only event, or something else? I'll probably come regardless, just want to know whether I need to do some last-minute chainmaking...

Both Luther and Fife Lake are organized competition, however anyone is welcome and we encourage new contestants to get involved. At both events we try to emphasize that this should be a fun and learning experience more than a blood and guts deal, all of the more experienced contestants are more than willing to talk about equipment and show others how to do things. So get your gear ready and come on up, if you send me your e-mail I will send you a copy of both rules.

As for me, The ground has dried up enough to sow some seeds, my Lawn care is caught up. I need to get some projects done around here. So I can start getting my wood supply stocked up.
Life is getting better.
I see Luke on Nicholson Hill has a few large piles of wood to cut up good to see him grow.

Yea Luke's has piles of wood stached all over his farm. His brother-in-law was our firewood connection up until last year when he called it quits. Luke got three or four truck loads last year at a discount. I have been getting much need work done as well.
