Its funny how EVERY single concern the OP had about his saw he was WRONG about, like dead wrong. Yet post after post everyone else is stupid, why not take responsibility, own your mistakes and move on. Just say 'thanks folks, I GOT IT WRONG'. I have no issue offering help to a saw newbie, that's what these sites are in part about. The first clue he had never used a saw was reefing off the clutch cover while locked on, then telling us there was something wrong with it. Everything from there on went downhill fast. But instead of owning his stupidity & inexperience, he wants to tell everyone else that they are stupid. A foot up the rear would help this fellow most.
Some people cannot accept the fact of a disagreement. They will argue and argue until the cows come home if you disagree. If you still disagree they will argue more and more no matter how much you logically counter it.

I assure you this guy is a die hard politics type, believing he is part of a strong group of principles that make up a strong force. But they are unwilling to even consider the slightest bit of doubt in their principles. The long drawn out posts replying to every member who countered him are proof of that.
Imagine having to work or live with this kind of person that just can’t accept that his views on things could be possibly wrong??? Lol talk about torture

Get in a political argument and tell your opponent that "his" candidate supports XYZ agenda. Let him extol how important that is and why his candidate is great then tell him that is actually what the other party supports. ;)

They would be in so much denial they would beg you to sign a waiver saying the conversation never took place. After signing they walk out the door and still support the issue that doesn’t make sense.

This is the problem with human thought and emotion, they are so intertwined that it is emotionally devastating to be proven wrong on an issue that they have believed their whole life. Imo the human brain will not accept truth if it means that they have to accept they have thought wrong for X many years....
This is why gun control arguments never end, among other topics of humanity!

It takes a clever person to realise they are wrong, accept it without putting an emotional attachment to it so they can move forward in a better direction. Easier said than done for many, one good rule for business, sales or trading is to remove emotion from your decision. I wish the OP the best.

These threads always turn out the same way, OP digs big hole with poor facts, gets called out & off they run with their tail between their legs. All over a piece of plastic infested with metal!:hi:
True. Sometimes it's just guys trolling for the fun of it. Lame but happens from time to time.

My kids(now teen and a 20 year old) have a great time giving me the business when I mess up. I always tell them I have no problem making a mistake, I just do my best not to make the same one a second time.
