When you are afraid of limbs falling on you, you can always fell a tree remotely......

There is a right way to do this. Face cut to the left and hinge wood on either side of charge (charge located center against holding wood). The only holding wood was at the rear center as tree was mostly hollow in the middle. Now the lifting of the tree and limbs snapping was a indicator that a little too much charge was used though LOL.

They used to keep the C4 next to the butter and lard in the refrigerated section at Walmart, but people kept mixing it up...
The real problem was when you use C4 in your favorite baking recipe. It isn't the blast that gets you, it's the oven door going through 3 walls and killing you in the shower.....

You guys have some really strange laws. The police were very polite and courteous when they came to seize what was left of my thermite. While they accepted that it is an incendiary not an explosive, they said I would need to have a legitimate reason for possessing it. They were appreciative that I explained the risks involved in storing the potassium permangenate and glycerine together. While thermite doesn’t ignite until it reaches about 700C. I just mix those two together at room temperature to produce that 700C.

Yea tannerite might be able to be bought at some grocery stores that also sell sporting goods. It's pretty cheap and no paperwork. If you bought 50# at once and were looking and talking crazy might get a look but it's just as if you were buying a sack of flour. Maybe 1-2# was used to take that tree down

It's fun for beaver dams too.... Yes it was about 2.5 lbs. It was a plastic Miracle Whip jar's worth. The neighbors all came outside and I think the dog still has to attend counseling since the experience.

That was your tree? Awesome!
Yes I posted that video tonight after seeing this thread. I was afraid the limbs would fall on us so I convinced all the females at the family gathering that this was the best way to do it LOL..... Afterwards, they weren't too happy with the concussion that shook all the windows in the house 200 yards away.

I often joke that it’s lucky that no terrorists have even heard of Perth. Mainly because you constantly see b-doubles carrying 40 ton of ammonium nitrate up to the mines. Not quite in the league of that Beirut blast but I would guess enough to level a city block.

Yea 50# bag blows a big hole in the ground and a box van full took down a giant government building in oaklahoma USA if you want to google it.
I think Timothy McVeigh used around a ton of ANFO using nitromethane as the fuel component.
