My guess is fir
Red oak is my guess - not my pic. Will be back with the reason I posted it, in a bit.Red oak. Possibly black oak--they're similar.
I have to go with red oak. jmho OTRed oak. Possibly black oak--they're similar.
Ain't that the truth!!!Apparently some folks out there got more money than sense.
So... only about 70% profit... I could cope.Yeah, but you gotta consider the box, taxes, and delivery .
And I suspect part of why I'm not one of them is that I'm not qualified to dream up this sort of scam, let alone the ethical iffiness to actually do it. Though I'm fairly sure the people handling the wood are not getting $66 a whatever for it.Ain't that the truth!!!
And it's not even meant to be burned!Firewood.
That too. And the hay people get for ten bucks a bale at the hardware - not a biggie if you're buying it for your pet bunnies or something, but sheesh... my horses are going to get real hungry at that rate...The real money is in straw.
I think I am in the wrong business. lmao OTOkay, so it's established - red oak.
It's a pic from an ad (by Wayfair) for "Maple split firewood decorative logs" - only $66
I am clearly in the wrong line of work. I've probably got about six grand in decorative logs lying in my front yard...
To be fair, if you dug into it far enough, you'd find out that they had options - oak, maple, cherry - but that required developing an interest in not-maple, almost seventy dollar firewood...
Apparently some folks out there got more money than sense.
