I'm looking for a list of saw prices when they were new in the late 80s-early 90s.Haven't had much luck.I was mostly looking to compare prices on 60cc saws(036 and others).I remember buying a Poulan 3800 from Sears in 1989 or 90 for $329.I knew better back then to even look at Stihls or Huskys. Thanks for any help.

I bought my Husqvarna 50 in 1986. It was either $307 or $312 out the door with a case and a couple bottles of husky oil. I can't remember what the price was for just the saw with 18" bar. I still have the saw and use it occasionally just for old time sake.
Lot of money in 1986,but I owned a few 50s 51s and 55s.Great saws, but I bought them all used.Glad you still got a 35 year old saw you can use.

I bought my 032 Stihl, with a 20" bar and chain, in 1984 for about $350. I cut enough firewood the week I got it to pay for it! $40 a cord!
I still have the saw!

In 1986 I believe my 028 super was on sale for $228 or $224. The next step up was the 034 or 038 at over $100 more. I was told, don't buy a Mac unless you know the correct model. Anyway the 028 was a big step up from the micro 25 I bought in 78.

Still have a Micro 25 on the shelf. Pretty nice one to.

The lil green machine will give you white knuckles.

I had listed pictures from Sears/craftsman catalogs from ‘81 and ‘85. That’s when they were selling re branded Poulans and HOMELITE might have been some echo there too. From 12” electric to the 85cc 5200. I can’t remember the price but none were cheap. I know the 3.7 (3700) with an 18” bar was over $300. Adjusted for inflation that’s over $800 today.
