I don't mind non venoms snakes and I don't kill either venomous or no venomous snakes. I just have a bad fobia of venomous spiders and snakes! We have neither in AK. However, I've definitely seen my share of both living down south while in the Service!
Jeazzus thank gawd for ole St Paddy we have no snake here ..................................................................................................................

If @Cowboy254 ever gets here :innocent: he will tell you about the spiders in Australia. I think he said some will kill you even if you look funny at them.:surprised3:
He's close he's into January now. What a great guy, taking time to read all our posts :surprised3: :numberone: curious to hear his thoughts on the skidders vs tractor debate going on a week ago

Local guy. He bought it along with a bunch of misc parts for other saws. Could not get it to keep running.
So far it needs a fuel line and vent line/screw. I'll sonic tank the carb as I think it has some crud internally that just blowing out won't get. I had the same issue with one of the 200ts I got. It would sort of run with the low screw out 2 turns...OE carb. Disassembled, tanked it and reassembled...runs great.
He had cleaned it up some but it still needs some love. Even has a sprocket rather than the old spur 😀 P&C are perfect, rings look good. It had a fair amount of mix oil inside the muffler so another carb issue clue.
Not gonna pull the cyl as it looks too pretty inside...other than carbon.View attachment 1053520View attachment 1053522 Will strip the rest down and clean it up. All OE
What size bar should it get?View attachment 1053519
I have a 20” ES bar 3/8” .050” gage that came on my ms400. I used it with 3 tanks of gas then upgraded to a LW bar. Anyway if you need it let me know and I can sell it half price of a new one plus whatever it may cost to mail/ship it.

First time I ever had a close encounter with a snake (Remember, I grew up in alaska) was with a copperhead down in Texas. Found him while mowing the lawn and got brave and ran him over with the push mower. Well that didn't work and he came out the back side striking. Went up to the house and grabbed my Mossberg 930JM and went back out and took his head clean off with a well placed round of #8 birdshot at about 10 feet. Well he started doing death throws, and I emptied all 9 rounds of 12ga into that thing leaving little more than a red spot on the ground.
Going back 55+ years my uncle, an arachnophobia sufferer and most likely with a beer in hand, used a 12 gauge to kill a spider on his boat dock. The "rat hole" left behind in the dock served as a permanent reminder.😉

There is no kill like overkill! Same can be said for emptying a shotty into a snake.

What ever size you decide on, add 20-30 feet to all sides/ends. :innocent: You'll thank me later.
10' high walls, and pull through doors on each end, and make them doors rolling, and high enough clearance to back your dump trailer in, with the skidder still loaded.

Now that's more like it...🤣
I mean no offense, just figured if you really needed to fight. Lol.

As seen posted in a local store. I wasn't sure if this belonged in this thread or the WTF thread... Makes me rethink the roughly 16-20 cords I've given away in recent years!

Had to stop at Weis the other day to grab a few things. Had 3 pathetic pieces of wood shrink wrapped together for $5.99 each. Labeled "campwood". Thought, heck I've given away better wood then that. What a rip off.

Surprised it didn't cone with an light bar on it. Mine did.

And it's "done"
I wonder how your bracing will hold up. Seems opposite to what it should be. Too bad you couldn't rotate the tongue jack 90 deg so the crank was in front, but I know you said it was welded in well and you didn't want to have to mess with it. If you need additional bracing, could you weld it to the outside frame of the tongue?
