I bought it around the time the 100 year commemorative came out. Got it from the original owner, he bought it in 1910. He was moving into a nursing home and wanted a hunter to get it. No peep. From what I could find out, about 50% were drilled for a peep, not mine, and I wouldn't drill it. Shot a couple deer with it, but eyes were getting bad. I got ammo from Ardvaark Custom Ammo. Never had a problem. I read a while back where someone had issues with his ammo. When I got into Savage 99's I let it go, big mistake. For those that don't know, a 35 Winchester is not the same as a 35 Remington. I'll post a pic in a bit.
I thought I had a pic of the old 95, but I couldn't find it. Here's a pic from left to right, 35 Remington, 35 Winchester, 405 Winchester.

You don't think air bags and bigger springs?
When you upgrade springs you must do shocks at the same time to dampen the heavier spring rate. As stated, ride will be affected. But, that can be compensated for to an extent with the right shocks. And, upgrade the rearā€¦upgrade the front as well or handling gets interesting. With bags you donā€™t have to do that as they are used only when needed.
my upgrade was mainly for the added flexibility; I have 3ā€™ of travel on each corner with 4 tires on the ground šŸ˜€.
load cap was just a bonus. Iā€™ve had over 2000# in the bed many times. Not recommended for long hauls, however šŸ¤Ŗā€¦steering gets interesting even with the beefy front SA and coilovers. When the truck was stock about a half load of Oak would bottom out the rearā€¦less than 1/4 cord šŸ™„.

You know, I bet they do have stuff like that available.....I imagine the price is out of sight high.
Not really. A cheap ā€˜Add-a-leaf will work but they tend to break if pushed too far into negative arch.
there are many companies that make Tundra spring packs. Check out Tundrasolutions.com
