You can't escape yourself
So I picked up a 520SP for a winter project to keep me from going stir crazy. I thought it would be able to last me all the way until the snow melted. I was excited to get started on it to see what it needed, maybe a new piston, a complete overhaul; man that would be great. I was hoping for a bigger project.

I get the saw and it runs fine, needs a choke linkage and maybe a muffler. Kind of disappointed, who wants a saw that runs?

Now I have to go find a new project. I guess it will have to be school work, dam.

If you feel left out I have a saw project or two that will definately consume more of your time and money then the little johnny did. It just won't be of the johnny red flavor ;).

I feel your pain! lol
I had just picked up a 2152 non running with very old fuel in it thought for sure it would need more work than just a real good cleaning. Replaced the lines and filters, cleaned the carb and tanks it runs great!
Even found a Oregon bar out of the package at Canadian tire for $10.00

Don't mind me...I'm just preserving this for all time... :D

LOL yeah I have noticed Gary has become a lot more open minded towards other brands since he has been here. I thought sending him a 335 should close the door again.

LOL...its kinda a personal decision if its better to be seen with a husky or a box of bud.

I imagine that's a push in the PNW.......................................

...............probably neither.:hmm3grin2orange: :hmm3grin2orange: :givebeer:

Hey, thanks I will always take a saw, but I think I found a new project. I have been hesitant on buying a Pioneer P38 that is local. I think I might go for it and tinker with it. I need something to do in my spare time, and put the thesis on the back burner. LOL

I know exactly how you feel. I like rebuilding engines and fixing up old basketcases so I end up selling off some of the finished projects to take on new ones or I give them away to good homes where they see some use.
